A man stole bread in Abuja last week — he was beaten and thrown into a police van.
Meanwhile, politicians steal billions… and still get police escorts, not cuffs.
A woman who sold fake receipts to survive was jailed.
But a contractor who took ₦500m for a school that doesn’t exist got another contract.
Why?
Because in Nigeria, justice has a price tag.
Lawlessness here is not a glitch. It’s a system.
One designed to protect the connected, not the correct.
It’s not that there are no laws — it’s who those laws serve.
Until justice is blind to class, tribe, and power…
We’ll keep bleeding from this selective blindness.
