But dem dey carry Nigeria for head — even when Nigeria forget dem.
🪖 Some join army when dem still be pikin.
Dem enter bush wey bullet no dey respect rank.
Some don lose their guy for ambush, but still waka enter next mission like say nothing happen.
You dey see the uniform.
You no dey see the suffer wey follow am.
No bed — just ground.
No steady food — just hope.
Dem go buy boot with their own money.
Dem go patrol for night when everybody dey sleep.
Dem no dey shout, but dem dey protect you — whether you sabi or not.
