Nightmare( the silent scream of death)

  Nightmare prologue.                        Mrs Clara stood still at the door with mouth wide open and eyes opened in awe. She was shocked to see a first year student Mattie Beautè hanging on a rope that was tied to a celling fan. Books were scattered around the room but there was no trace of someone entering the room.  Mrs Clara couldn't hold back her tears as she saw the lifeless body of a once jovial and popular student of their school. She ran down the stairs telling anyone who wants to know that Mattie was dead. 'Mattie is dead', the students yelled as they ran up to her room to confirm it. Some sheaded tears because they were reminded of how happy they were when she was alive while some were happy that the most popular student of their school is gone. They called her parents and broke the news to them. The remaining occupants of Anthill relocated to the main campus hostel for fear of death. They were going forever and we're not going to come back. Anthill was closed down till the next session.                                  Chapter 1                              Jess stood by the driveway to admire the building that stood beautifully on the Anthill. The trees that grew around gave it a homely status and the campus building was breathtaking. Jess seemed to love the place as she dragged her luggage through the driveway. It was a little difficult to drag her bag as she walked up the hill. Soon she was at the gate of the building. She opened it a met two girls sitting on the porch. Hi ladies, My name is Jessica. She said. The girls turned to the direction of the voice and we're relieved to see that another person was going to live with them. Hi, I am Miranda and this is Bianca, nice to meet you. I collected the keys to the house but I was asked to wait for the house captain. Have you seen him yet. Miranda asked. Him?!, I'm the house captain. Please open the door, I'm tired and I need to eat too. They opened the door and met Milo and Ian already settled down. They all exchanged pleasantries before doing a house survey. The building was specious with  a general kitchen. Jess rushed to her room and she was surprised that the temperature of the room was chilly. Hum it's cold, Jess said as she grabbed her sweater. She took time to admire her room. The walls were painted purple, the bed was covered with a purple bedsheet, the reading lamp was cream colored same with the wardrobe having a fancy mirror which gave the room a beautiful look. Jess nodded in satisfaction and went downstairs to meet her other mates in the dining room. Hey blonde hair, how are you. Ian asked Jess who was taken aback by the question. Fine. I'm Jessica the house captain of this building. I know, we need to eat but we ca cook now because we are tired. Mind if we order something. Ian asked. Why don't we order pizza to celebrate this night. Miranda said. I already did and it's  on its way. Mrs Clara said we should tidy up afterwards. Jess said. Soon the pizza arrived and they all say down to eat after making a camp fire. This place isn't bad at all. It will be good for my fishing hobby, at least there is a stream at the back of the hill. Ian said. As for me I am here under a swimming scholarship so I think the stream is to my advantage too. Bianca said. As for me I am here to study and my parents will disown me if I don't.  Miranda said. Indeed everyone had there reasons for choosing Anthill but Milo sat down reading as if the conversation doesn't bother him.
