NNPC, Agip Award ₦1.5 Billion Scholarships to 30 Young Nigerians for Overseas & Local Graduate Studies
In a major boost for education and talent development, the NNPC/NAE partnership has awarded fully funded scholarships to 30 young Nigerians to pursue Master’s degrees both at home and abroad.
At a ceremony in Abuja, NNPC Ltd.’s Chief Upstream Investment Officer, Oluwaseyi Omotowa (represented by NUIMS Deputy Manager, External Relations) and the MD of NAE, Fabrizio Bolondi, urged the beneficiaries to maximize the opportunity and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth.
The scheme offers 10 overseas scholarships worth $50,000 each and 20 local scholarships worth ₦5 million each, covering disciplines like Geosciences, Engineering, and Petroleum Economics.
Since its inception in 2004, the NNPC/NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award has supported over 350 Nigerian graduates, shaping the next generation of leaders in energy and innovation
