Ogun State Targets Over 2 Million Children for Polio Vaccination
The Ogun State government plans to vaccinate over 2 million children under five against polio and administer HPV vaccines to nine-year-old girls. Pregnant women will also receive multiple micronutrient supplements across 236 wards. Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, urged parents to participate in the 2025 Immunisation Plus Days and MNCH Week to help keep the state free from vaccine-preventable diseases.
