This usually happens because of one of these problems on Tecno Spark phones: Keyboard app stopped working Restart your phone first. Then open WhatsApp again and tap the phone number box. Gboard or keyboard disabled Go to: Settings → System → Languages & input → On-screen keyboard Make sure Gboard or your keyboard is enabled.
