đź’” Lessons from Loss in Broiler Production

    Farming is never without risks

Recently, I faced one of the hardest realities of poultry production — losing 70% of my stocked broilers. It was painful, both financially and emotionally.

But every setback is also a classroom. Through this challenge, I’ve learned deeper lessons about biosecurity, vaccination programs, and the discipline it takes to manage large flocks.

Special kudos to my academic support, Dr. Michael Ockiya, for his mentorship and guidance through this storm. His insights continue to shape me into not just a farmer, but a resilient agripreneur.

In agriculture, losses are not the end. They are stepping stones — each one shaping us for greater wisdom, stronger systems, and better results in the next cycle.

🌱 Farming is not guesswork. It is learning, strategizing, and building resilience — one experience at a time.
