Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
Daniel 6:10 (NIV)
🫶🏾 Reflection:
Daniel knew the cost of prayer that day it could mean a death sentence. Yet he didn’t hide, compromise, or adjust his faith to fit the pressure of the moment.
He prayed anyway.
And he didn’t just ask for help he gave thanks.
This verse reminds us that real faith is not situational. It’s not loud only in comfort and silent in crisis. It’s steady, consistent, and courageous even when the cost is high.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, give me the courage of Daniel ...a faith that doesn’t shrink under pressure. Let my prayer life be constant, not just in moments of need. Teach me to give thanks in all situations, trusting that You are greater than any decree against me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
✨ Declaration:
My faith will not bow to fear ... I will pray, and I will trust God.
