🔴⚪ This transfer market has gone completely mad. Anderson played for Nottingham Forest. What did he do this season that justifies €135m? One good season in a system built around him and suddenly he's a world-class asset? Mauricio Fernandez — €85m. The man has been at West Ham for less than two years. West Ham that got relegated. And now he's worth €85m because he's young and tall and looks good on a spreadsheet? Wharton is the one that hurts my brain the most. One proper season at Crystal Palace. One. And they're pricing him at €105m? Omo. 😂 Brighton wanted €100m for Baleba last season. Manchester United said no, walked away, and refused to be held hostage. Fast forward to today — Baleba is not worth €40m. Brighton lost €60m in value simply because they were greedy and United had sense. THAT is the lesson the whole Premier League needs to learn. If even three or four of the big clubs just said "we're not paying these ridiculous fees, go and find someone else" — watch how fast the market corrects itself. But instead? Clubs keep paying. And as long as somebody is paying, Brighton, Nottingham, Crystal Palace, they will keep asking. The madness continues because the buyers refuse to draw a line. More clubs need to develop that kind of backbone. Because the way this market is going, €200m for a Championship player is coming next.
