🥇 Rewards for Super Falcons – WAFCON 2025 Champions
National Honour:
All 24 players and the entire technical crew were honoured with the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) title by President Tinubu during a reception at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on July 28, 2025.
Housing:
Each member (players and staff) received a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Housing Scheme in Abuja.
Cash Rewards:
Players were awarded the naira equivalent of US $100,000 each.
Technical staff received the equivalent of US $50,000 each.
Governors’ Bonus:
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum, led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, announced an additional gift of ₦10 million per person (players and staff) on behalf of all 36 state governors.
Prompt Payment of Bonuses:
Ahead of the WAFCON final on July 26, 2025, President Tinubu approved the full disbursement of match bonuses and allowances, ensuring timely payment to the Super Falcons squad and officials.
