A year later, she returned—pregnant.
But guess what? She came back asking for an abortion.
I was surprised and asked her,
“Why did you remove the family planning implants if you weren’t ready to get pregnant?”
She looked down and said, “It was my husband’s idea.”
I paused for a moment, then asked her,
“So… where is your husband now? Why didn’t he come with you?”
She had no answer.

Dear women, please—talk to your husbands before doing family planning. Get their consent if you can.
But if he refuses, protect yourself anyway.
