A man (driver) is under police guard at Nankudu state hospital after a pick up vehicle carrying 19 football passengers overturned on the B15 road near Vandonga village in Kavango West yesterday. According to Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, the man who allegedly had a breath alcohol reading of 1.36mg per 1000ml faces multiple charges, including reckless driving, overloading, and operating a vehicle without a licence. Police say the accident occurred as the driver attempted to change gears, causing the vehicle to roll.
