59 days agoTo raise great kids, repitition should be one of your handy weapons.
Children need to hear an instruction repeatedly until it becomes a voice in their head.
They need to do certain tasks repeatedly until it becomes second nature.
You need to talk about a thing repeatedly until it becomes muscle memory.
This is why routines and structures MUST not be absent in your home.
Repeat instructions, guidelines and teachings as many times as possible, until it sinks.
This is the only way to have your voice speaking in their head even when you are not there.
Embrace repetition. It's part of your parenting weapons.
