    *Secure victory through intimacy with God.*

     

    *Acts 19:15*

    "One day the evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?'" 

     

    The effectiveness and fruitfulness in our ministries depend on our intimacy with God. Our power as believers comes from knowing the Lord, to whom all power belongs.

    As believers, we have the duty to wage spiritual warfare against forces of darkness that oppose the purposes of God. The kingdom of darkness has different ranks of powers that collaborate to oppose the will of God from being done on earth as it is in heaven.

     

    However, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we possess divine power to cast them out and destroy their works (Mark 16:17). Jesus assured His disciples that no power of darkness could harm them (Luke 10:19). As we stand firm and resist the works of evil powers, we need to be aware that our power and effectiveness is hidden in our intimate relationship with God.

     

    Pray that God will help you to cultivate and strengthen your relationship with Him so that you may fight all your battles with His authority and power in Jesus' name. Amen.
