I need someone to explain this to me. Fuel price is up. Food price is up. School fees are up. Rent is up. Everything that makes life harder for the ordinary Nigerian keeps going up. And yet the people in power seem completely unbothered. They are still collecting their jumbo salaries. Still traveling abroad for medical treatment paid by our taxes. Still building houses and sending their children to schools in countries they have failed to make Nigeria look like. Still appearing at events in expensive outfits, giving motivational speeches about resilience to people who are broken by policies they created. What exactly are our leaders doing? Where are the job creation programs that were promised? Where is the security that was guaranteed? Where is the infrastructure we were told was coming? Where is the hunger relief for families that can no longer afford three meals a day? Leadership is not a title. It is a responsibility. And right now, far too many of the people holding power in Nigeria are treating it like a reward instead of a duty. The painful truth is that our silence empowers them. When we stop talking, stop demanding, stop holding them to account, they take it as permission to continue. We cannot afford to be quiet anymore. What do you think our leaders should be doing right now that they are completely ignoring? Tell me below. 👇😤
