Starting small-dreaming big.. my design journey

I didn't start graphic design because I had all the tools.

I started because I had ideas — and I wanted people to feel something when they saw them.

At first, it was just playing with fonts on my phone, watching YouTube tutorials, and copying flyers for practice. I didn’t even have a laptop. But passion doesn’t ask for permission.

The first time someone said, “Wow, you made this?” — it changed something in me. I realized that creativity wasn’t about perfection. It was about expression.

Being a young designer in Nigeria isn’t always easy. Sometimes people want designs for free. Sometimes you post something and nobody likes it. Sometimes even your own friends ignore your growth. But you know what? I’m still designing.

I still get excited when I finish a flyer. I still dream of building a brand that speaks loud in colors, lines, and layout.

I may be young. I may be learning. But I am growing.

If you're chasing something creative, don’t stop.

Let your hustle speak before you explain. Let your work introduce you before you enter the room.
