2 days agoLet's talk about the female artiste in the industry, how some were not able to reach their goal or what dey dreamt of because they disregarded them. They didn't give them the recognition they deserve because of the fact that they are female.
Why do we think male are the only ones that should be relevant in the music industry?
Why do they disregard female just because they are female ?
Feminism was created in order to protect female rights, as a female we have the right to being equal as men, why should men do things and women shouldn't?
Well my name is Meena and I am also a female artiste, uprising one. In my own era I will make sure I made a great impact in the music industry and lay down a long lasting and strong legacy. My legacy shall forever live on like that of kela.
By achieving this goal I created my own music genre called afro femme
Afro femme is not just a name, it is not just a female genre, it is a genre that both male and female artiste can participate in.
It is a genre for all, a genre an LGBTQ can dive in
A genre that the female voices must be heard, we must be regarded, we must be relevant, we must be topping chart,we must have our own voice, we must be equally appreciated 👏 💐 🥳
