A boy was born to kick a ball. Short and small, but fast and he scores. "He's talented," they said. Another boy was born. Tall and strong, yet not quick by nature. He works day and night to outdo the source. On the field, they are on par. Time and time again they battle. One works 24 hours to be better, while one works 8 hours just to practice. With old age, the one with talent still succeeds, while the one who worked hard no longer has the strength. He must concede. Is it fair? When you think of the Parable of the Talents, is it fair that some were given five and others two, with resources and support, while one was given one with nothing? Is it fair that their talents were doubled with little hard work, while the other was disadvantaged right from the start? And yes, we do not question God. But sincerely, as humans, when you look at it... and think about it in your own terms, is it fair?
