    1.

This life no balance at all.

Let me gist you how I followed my friend for a job interview and ended up in a prayer revival with fasting and deliverance. 😭👇

    2.

My guy Emeka called me early in the morning:

“Bro, I get job interview today. Come with me for morale.”

I said, “No wahala.” I even wore shirt and tucked in like an assistant HR.

    3.

We reached the place and I saw crowd.

People were wearing suits like they were going for burial.

One aunty even came with a CV, passport photo, and Holy Bible.

That was red flag number one. 🚩

    4.

    The “interview” started with:

    “Praise the Lord somebody!”

    I looked around.

Omo, na church setting oo 😭

    5.

The man of God came out with mic:

“Today is not just an interview, it’s a divine appointment!”

    I whispered to Emeka:

“Bro, are we applying for a job or heaven?”

    6.

They told us to kneel down and pray against ancestral delay.

I was still standing when one sister tapped me:

“If you don’t pray, the spirit of unemployment will follow you home.”

    😭😭

    7.

    Next thing:

“Now we will fast and pray till 3pm before the final interview.”

Me wey chop only puff-puff in the morning…

My spirit was willing but my stomach was shouting “Exit!”

    8.

    I asked the usher,

“Please, is this part of the job application?”

    She said:

“Yes, if you survive the 3-day revival, you get shortlisted.”

AH. So I need to cast and bind before I get salary? 😭

    9.

Final session was “laying of hands for breakthrough.”

One guy fainted after prayer and they said it’s “evidence of deliverance.”

Me I held my balance tight. I no wan faint jobless.

    10.

After 6 hours, they finally gave us the job description:

“You’ll be selling anointed coconut oil and prophetic face towel on the street.”

Omo. From HR assistant to street evangelist? What a career shift!

    11.

As I left, one brother stopped me:

“Brother, the Lord said you’ll be great, but you must sow a seed.”

I said, “Bros, even Jesus multiplied bread, not CVs. I dey go.”

    12.

    Emeka didn’t get the job.

    I lost my belt.

And my stomach was still growling.

Please if you see “interview” fliers that say “Come fasting,”

    RUN.
