It started on a sunny Saturday when Mr. Bello decided to wash his car—again. His neighbor, Mama Ijeoma, had just mopped her compound and warned, “If your dirty water crosses this line, wahala go happen!”
Mr. Bello, confident as ever, replied, “Madam, water no get enemy!”
Before anyone could blink, the rinse water from Mr. Bello’s car flowed gracefully across the imaginary border. Mama Ijeoma screamed like a Nollywood actress, grabbed her mop, and marched over.
“Next time, wash your car in the river!” she yelled.
Mr. Bello, not backing down, grabbed his own mop. What followed was a full-blown *mop battle*. Mops flew, water splashed, children cheered, and one neighbor even brought popcorn.
To make things worse, their dogs joined in—barking and chasing each other like they were trained for drama. One slipped on the soapy ground and crashed into a basin, adding sound effects.
Eventually, the landlord arrived with a whistle, blowing it like a referee. “Yellow card for both of you!” he shouted.
By the time peace returned, half the compound was wet—and not from car wash.
