    Last year, I helped a friend get a job. I even lent him money to settle in.

    Months later, I asked him for a small favor — just to help me talk to his boss about a vacancy.

     

    He ignored my calls.

    He read my messages but never replied.

     

    At first, I was angry. But later, I realized something —

    Not everyone you help will remember you. Some only remember when they need you.

     

    I didn’t argue, I didn’t chase.

    I just became silent… and in that silence, I found peace. 🌙
