A thought just occurred to me recently. The fact that after years of stress, sleeplees nights, and a lot more that comes with undergoing education in a tertiary institution, after all of that, all we have to show for it is a piece of paper ( the knowledge too, of course, but that is not my agenda for today) A piece of paper, with some printing ink on it. Isn't it crazy? A piece of paper holds so little value and so much value all at once. It can be so valueless, that a person can easily trash a bunch of it without thinking much of it, because to them, at that point in time, there really isn't a use for them anymore. On the other hand, it can be so valuable, as in the case of a certificate issued after an individual has graduated, or completed some sort of course. It is indeed incredible, this paper. Something so profoundly valueless yet so invaluable, all at once. #duality
