Every election cycle, politicians recycle the same lines:
“We shall create jobs.”
“We shall bring electricity.”
“We shall fight corruption.”
By now, citizens have decoded the translation:
Jobs = more campaign posters.
Electricity = louder speakers at rallies.
Fighting corruption = politicians fighting over who gets the bigger share.
