When we were younger, we thought adults had all the answers. We thought there would come a certain age where everything would suddenly make sense. Bills would be easy to handle. Decisions would be easy to make. The future would be easy to plan. But the older I get, the more I realize that life doesn’t work that way. Most people are figuring things out as they go. The person you think has everything under control is worried about something. The person you admire is struggling with something you can’t see. The person you compare yourself to is probably comparing themselves to someone else. That’s why I’ve stopped believing that life is a race. Everyone is moving at a different pace. Some people find success early. Some find it later. Some are still searching for their path. And that’s okay. Social media makes it seem like everybody is winning except you, but remember that people usually post their victories, not their doubts, failures, or sleepless nights. The truth is that growth is often quiet. It happens in the days nobody claps for you. It happens when you keep going even when results aren’t showing yet.
