The Politics of Power Supply in Nigeria

Nigerians have endured decades of blackouts, yet agencies keep changing names—from NEPA to PHCN to DISCOs.

Why hasn’t electricity supply improved? Because it’s not about the name—it’s about who profits from our darkness.

Billions have been spent on “power sector reform,” but where are the results?

While politicians promise 24/7 electricity, most citizens still rely on generators, fuel, and prayer

Every time we buy candles, kerosene, or fuel, someone up there is making money from our suffering.

Until we demand transparency and accountability, the light may never come.
