As the creative lead of the Safe Space Development Foundation, I was given the opportunity to lead the YOUNG ENVIRONMENTALISTS CLUB(YEs) in the Pet Project at independence high school,
Let me take you through the journey....☺️
This project began in mid-October 2024 with an extensive plastic collection process.
A total of 5,000 plastic bottles were sourced, cleaned, and prepared for this construction. By engaging the YOUNG ENVIRONMENTALISTS CLUB(YEs) students, the project fostered a sense of ownership and environmental responsibility, empowering the next generation of sustainability leaders.
Let’s skip to the best part☺️.
Now this is what I call TEAM WORK 💪.
Using discarded plastic bottles to build a functional urinary. The aim of this Project is to raise awareness about plastic pollution, recycling, and sustainable solutions. The Students of the YOUNG ENVIRONMENTALISTS CLUB(YEs) UKANA, learned innovative ways to reuse and recycle plastic waste, empowering them to prioritize sustainability.
Thank you Safe Space Development Foundation for always giving me the opportunity 🙏
