A king once called three servants and gave each a small bag of gold.
“Use this wisely,” he said, “for one day I will ask what you did with it.”
The first servant buried his bag, afraid of losing it.
The second spent it all on feasts and clothes, living like a prince for a short while.
The third servant bought books, learned new skills, and started a small trade.
Years later, the king returned.
The first brought back the same dusty bag.
The second had nothing but regret.
But the third had built a thriving market, teaching others and earning wealth that never stopped growing.
The king smiled at him and said,
“The best way to invest is not to hide or waste, but to grow what you are given through knowledge, skill, and action.”
