The Rebellion of the Angels

 *THE REBELLION OF THE ANGELS*

   "How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the Morning ! How art thou cut down to the ground,which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart ,I will ascend into Heaven ,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the Mount of the Congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High" ( Isaiah 14:12 -14).

    According J.P. TIMMMONS,a brief history of the rebellion was told to him by some former rulers of the Darkness of Satan. The rebellion was not started by Satan. In fact, he resisted it. The rebellion was initiated by two Angels with great power who were the closest friends of Lucifer. Their names are Belial and Leviathan, names found in the Bible. Belial is attributed to wickedness according to Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:15. Leviathan on the other hand is described as a multi headed sea serpent in Psalms 74:14. He is attributed to chaos and confusion. 

      These two had told Lucifer to be God. They began to continually tell Lucifer that he had soo much wisdom, beauty and glory as God Almighty. Why should he work for God? He should be running things in the universe instead of taking orders from God. Thus the very spirit of rebellion was started by Belial and Leviathan. 

      Initially, Lucifer would not listen. He refused to rebel against his Creator. However, he changed his mind after God punished Leviathan and Belial for instigating and counselling rebellion within the Kingdom of God. The Lord cast these two Angels into hell for counselling rebellion. This action of God angered Lucifer. He thought God wanted to make him his servant. If so,why won't he join his friends in hell and be their king? He went to hell alright but didn't like hell. Thus,Satan left Heaven on his own before God casted him out of Heaven. Since he could go to Heaven as much as he wants,he was able to deceive 1/3 of God's Angels. You must be wondering, what exactly did Lucifer tell these Angels right? It's simple. He had said " The government of God was unjust and dishonest "

  With 1/3 of the trillions of Angels on his side,a w3r began. This w3r was between God's Angels and Lucifer's Angels. It was after Lucifer and the others lost the battle that God officially cast them out of Heaven. Thus,the name Lucifer (Light Bearer) was changed the Satan (Opposer,father of lies).

     Before the rebellion, Satan was one of the Arch Angels. 

 *NOTE*: There are three Arch Angels. These are Lucifer,Michael and Gabriel. 

   After the rebellion, Mankind took Lucifer's place as Arch Angels. And it was out of this event which led Satan to deceive Mankind because he knew God h@te sin.
