    1. I’ve never said this publicly. But it’s time.
    2. I was sexually abused when I was younger.
It wasn’t violent. It was quiet, confusing, manipulative.
I didn’t call it abuse for years.
    3. But it left marks that no one could see.
Let me tell you what it did to me — and how I’m healing
    4. I couldn’t trust anyone.
Compliments felt like traps. Kindness felt fake.
    5. I hated my body.
Intimacy confused me. I felt both drawn to it and scared of it.
    6. I became hyper-independent.
Never asked for help. Didn’t want to owe anyone anything.
    7. Shame was my shadow.
Even when I knew it wasn’t my fault… guilt stuck.
    8. Healing is slow.
I started by saying the words. I was abused.
Then I forgave myself. I asked for help. I started talking.
    9. If you’re reading this and it’s your story too —
      You are not broken.
      It wasn’t your fault.
      You are not alone.
    10. I’m healing.
      I still have days.
      But I’m no longer silent.
And neither should you be. 🕊️
