    Nigeria is rich.

    But power is poor.

    Light comes today,

    Gone tomorrow.

     

    Why is it like this?

    Let’s speak truth.

     

    1. Old equipment

    Wires are weak.

    Poles are bad.

    Transformers explode.

     

    2. Low power supply

    We need 30,000 megawatts.

    We get less than 5,000.

    It’s not enough.

     

    3. Poor maintenance

    They fix today,

    It breaks tomorrow.

     

    4. Corruption

    Money meant for power

    Goes into pockets.

    No light, but big promises.

     

    5. Privatization issues

    Discos and Gencos

    Care more about money

    Than the people.

     

    6. Generator nation

    People now rely on fuel.

    Noise everywhere.

    Smoke everywhere.

    No peace.

     

    7. No stable plan

    Each government starts new.

    They don’t finish old ones.

     

    That’s why we suffer.

    That’s why we stay in darkness.

     

    Nigeria has power problems.

    But the people deserve light.
