Meanwhile our security forces on the ground are dying. Communities are living in fear. Parents are scared to send their children to school. Farmers are afraid to go to their own farms. A government that is serious about protecting its people does not wait for bandits to become bolder before acting. It sends a clear and immediate message that crime has a cost.
