We waited. The naira fell, fuel subsidy drama began, and herdsmen crises got worse. 2019 the same faces came back with new grammar. Next level, they called it. The next level turned out to be more hardship, more unemployment, and a pandemic that exposed how unprepared our health system truly was. 2023 a new face emerged. Renewed hope. Subsidy removal on day one. Naira redesign chaos. Exchange rate climbing like it is training for a marathon. Hardship that made 2022 look like a manageable time. The pattern is clear. Nigerian politicians know exactly what to say to win votes. But governance requires more than good speeches. It requires accountability, planning, and genuine love for the people.
