Being young in Nigeria is not for the weak.

This is more than a thread — it’s a reflection of what many are silently passing through. 🧵👇

**1. Waking up to no job, no hope, no clear direction.**

Every day feels the same — just survival mode.

**2. Your parents look at you, expecting you to provide.**

They don’t say it, but you can see the disappointment in their eyes.

**3. You studied hard in school, but there's no job.**

You carry a degree with no opportunity to use it. Sad.

**4. You open social media and see others “balling.”**

You wonder what you’re doing wrong. It hurts.

    **5. Everything is expensive.**

Food. Transport. Data. Even staying alive is expensive now.

**6. You can’t even fall sick.**

Hospitals are either too expensive or useless. You just pray not to fall ill.

    **7. You have dreams.**

Big dreams. But reality keeps cutting your wings.

**8. You want to help your family.**

But you can’t even help yourself. That guilt is heavy.

**9. You pray, you cry, you hustle.**

But sometimes it feels like nothing is working.

**10. Still, you wake up and try again.**

Because deep down, something in you refuses to give up. And that’s courage.

📌 You’re not lazy. You’re not a failure. You’re just in a country that makes things harder than they should be.
