🔥 “This Poem Was Banned Before I Wrote It”

    I wrote a line about freedom —

    they erased it.

I wrote again, this time louder —

    they called it protest.

I do not speak for applause.

    I speak because silence

has cost us too many sons.

Too many names buried before they bloomed.

    My pen shakes,

    but it does not surrender.

This poem is not pretty —

    it’s angry.

It is the sound of a nation

    learning to pronounce justice.
