So yesterday I decided I was going to “start a new life” and act very smart in class. I even told myself: “Today, I will not make any mistake.” Biggest mistake of my life. Teacher asked a simple question: “What is the capital of Nigeria?” I knew it. I really did. But my brain said no. Before I could think, my mouth confidently said: “Lagos.” Silence. The whole class turned slowly like it was a movie scene. Even the boy that never talks started laughing. Then the teacher looked at me and said: “Are you sure you’re in the same Nigeria as the rest of us?” I wanted to disappear immediately 😭 But it gets worse… I tried to recover by saying: “Sorry ma, I meant Abuja… I was just testing you.” TESTING HER??? Now my friends say I’m “Senior Professor of Confusion.” And honestly… they are not wrong 💀
