Florida State law is clear: you cannot steal or launder money and then use it to acquire property. But international thief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, GSSRS thought he was untouchable.
Several Florida statutes directly prohibit Wike’s criminal conduct. He illegally concealed ownership of his Florida mansions by putting them under the names of his children and wife — who is herself a Court of Appeal judge in Nigeria.
His crimes fall squarely under Florida Statute § 812.019 – organizing or directing trafficking in stolen property, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Wike may be acquiring land in Abuja for his family, but he cannot escape the truth: his $2 million Florida property trafficking crime will haunt him.
