From your screenshot, the touch is probably freezing on that WhatsApp page. The app is opening, but the screen is not responding when you tap the input box. Try these exact fixes: Press the square/recent apps button Close WhatsApp completely. Restart your TECNO Spark 7. After restart: Do NOT open WhatsApp first. Open another app like Chrome or Messages. Test if touch works there. Then go to: Settings → Apps → WhatsApp Force Stop Storage → Clear Cache only Open WhatsApp again. If still nothing presses on that screen: Your WhatsApp may be bugged. Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp from Play Store. Before uninstalling: Make sure your SIM card can receive SMS or calls for verification. Also test this: Rotate the phone sideways and back. Remove any screen overlay apps or blue-light filter apps. Remove screen protector temporarily if touch is acting weird only at the bottom. If the whole screen sometimes stops responding in other apps too, then it may be a touchscreen/system issue, not WhatsApp.
