I was still looking for my socks, phone, and charger...
All while eating bread and tea ☕🍞😂
They came outside, stood in the sun like a lizard 🦎,
texted, “I can’t see you.”
Me: “I’m at the other gate.”
There was no other gate. 😭
I finally left the house 10 minutes later — pretending to be on a call like I’d been waiting for them all along.
