David reaches out again.
We talk… we catch up… I’m not even holding grudges anymore.
Then he says, “I miss you.”
I was like, Miss me?
This is the same man who let me go because another woman told him to.
I reminded him ,and he apologized, saying,
“I had no choice… I’ve been with her for so long.”
They’re still together. Over six years now.
And he’s telling me… he still wants me?
A man who is obviously going to marry her… but wants to keep me close?
That’s when it clicked.
He’s selfish.
