    Malaria is a serious disease caused by Plasmodium parasites, transmitted to humans through the bite of infected Anopheles mosquitoes. Symptoms usually appear 10–15 days after the mosquito bite. Here are the common symptoms of malaria:

    🔴 Common Symptoms:

    1. Fever (can be recurring or continuous)

    2. Chills and shivering

    3. Sweating, especially after chills subside

    4. Headache

    5. Nausea and vomiting

    6. Muscle aches and joint pain

    7. Fatigue and weakness

    8. Loss of appetite

    9. Abdominal pain

    10. Rapid breathing and heart rate

    ⚠️ Severe Symptoms (may indicate complicated or cerebral malaria):

    1. Seizures

    2. Confusion or altered consciousness

    3. Severe anemia

    4. Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)

    5. Dark or cola-colored urine (hemoglobinuria)

    6. Organ failure (e.g. kidney or liver)

    7. Low blood sugar (can lead to coma)

    📌 Note:

    In children, symptoms may include irritability, poor feeding, and drowsiness.

    Malaria symptoms can sometimes be confused with typhoid, flu, or other febrile illnesses.
