18 days agoJumu‘ah Du’a (English + Arabic + Meaning):
Arabic:
اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ الجُمُعَةِ وَنُورِهَا، وَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي فِيهَا، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي وَعُمْرِي، وَاقْبَلْ دُعَائِي، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.
Transliteration:
Allahumma aj‘alni min ahli al-jumu‘ati wa nūrihā, waghfir lī dhunūbī fīhā, wa bārik lī fī rizqī wa ‘umrī, wa aqbil du‘ā’ī, waj‘alnī min ‘ibādika as-sāliḥīn.
Meaning:
O Allah, make me among the people of Jumu‘ah and its light. Forgive my sins on this day. Bless me in my provision and my life. Accept my supplications and make me among Your righteous servants.
🌸 You can also say these short supplications on Jumu‘ah:
1. “Astaghfirullah” (I seek Allah’s forgiveness) – repeat it often.
2. “Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala āli Muhammad” – send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.
3. “SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar.”
Recommended actions for Jumu‘ah:
Take a bath (ghusl).
Wear clean clothes and perfume.
Recite Surah Al-Kahf.
Send salawat (blessings) upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ abundantly.
Make du’a especially between Asr and Maghrib, a time when prayers are accepted.
