I saw other creators with fancy cameras, marketing degrees, and years of experience in digital media.
They knew every algorithm hack.
They could edit videos in minutes.
They spoke the "online" language fluently.
Meanwhile, I was sitting there thinking:
"I have never even touched some of these tools before."
"Am I really the person to tell Africa's farming stories?"
But here's what I had:
So i stopped comparing my beginning to soreone else's middle.
I focused on creating content that mattered — not just what was trendy.
I shared real farmer stories.
I broke down complex agricultural topics into bite-sized videos and posts.
I showed the beauty, the challenges, and the opportunities in African agriculture.
And with time, I went from a beginner to:
L, Growing a community of over 200,000 agriculture followers.
- Helping farmers access markets through digital platforms.
L, Partnering with organizations to run online agriculture campaigns.
L Training youth to use social media for agribusiness.
