Let’s have an honest conversation today.

Too many young girls are entering cities for “better life” but end up in hotel rooms, not classrooms.

Not because they want to — but because the system and even parents push them there.

    Let me explain 👇

She left the village with a Ghana-must-go and big dreams.

    But dreams don’t pay rent.

And when her aunty’s husband started acting funny, she moved out.

No job. No help. No voice.

    Next stop: Hotel lounge.

Fake name. New wig. Real pain.

    The worst part?

    Some parents KNOW.

    Yet they’ll call and say:

“You know you’re the firstborn. Your younger ones are hungry. Do something.”

But what exactly is she supposed to do in a city where morality doesn’t feed mouths?

Now she sits in a hotel lobby every night, waiting for strangers.

    No insurance. No love.

Just makeup, fear, and WhatsApp statuses like

    “Soft life or no life.”

    Deep down, she’s broken.

    But her mum says:

    “Send small money for rice.”

    Let’s be clear:

    These girls aren’t “spoilt.”

They’re products of poverty + pressure + silence.

Some even fund siblings' school fees from their pain.

Society calls them names, but never offers real solutions.

    What can we do instead?

    ✅ Teach job skills.

✅ Offer shelter and safe spaces.

✅ Parents must stop emotional blackmail of their daughters.

✅ Communities must stop glorifying suffering and start building dignity.

To every young girl reading this:

Your body is not a survival tool.

You deserve a chance, not shame.

    You deserve mentorship, not manipulation.

Please don’t lose yourself trying to prove your usefulness.

    Let’s speak up.

Let’s stop pretending not to see what’s happening in these hotels and lounges.

    And most importantly…

Let’s stop sacrificing daughters to feed broken families.
