    Many Nigerians are tired of hearing fake job promises every day. From the cities to the villages, job seekers are being promised jobs that don’t exist. Some people go for interviews and are asked to pay money first, while others are scammed online through fake job offers.

     

    The situation is worse for young graduates who spent years in school, only to come out and face disappointment. Instead of finding real jobs, they are given “offers” that lead nowhere. Some companies even post job ads just to gather people's personal information or force them to buy forms.

     

    Because of these fake promises, many Nigerians have stopped trusting job advertisements. Even real job offers are now ignored because people are afraid of being scammed again.

     

    The government and private companies need to come together to stop this. If nothing is done, more Nigerians will lose hope. We need real job opportunities, not empty pro

    mises.
